The aim of the lecture series (suited for both PhD students and senior researchers) is to present a selection of topics in the Physics Beyond the Standard Model that are relevant both for the Physics that is investigated at the LHC and for astrophysical and cosmological observations. The first week Slava Rychkov (University Paris 6) will give an introduction to composite-Higgs models for electroweak symmetry breaking. The second week Alejandro Ibarra (Technische Universität München) will present how Physics Beyond the Standard Model can emerge in astrophysics and cosmology through the discussion of two relevant topics such as Leptogenesis and Dark Matter.
